Scope

These terms govern your use of zentered-studios.com. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, stop using it.

They cover this website only. Our products run on their own domains under their own terms, and client work runs under a separate signed agreement. Where that agreement conflicts with this page, the signed agreement wins.

What this site is

An informational site describing what we build and sell. The service descriptions are not an offer, a quote, or a commitment to price, scope, or availability. Nothing here creates a client relationship. We are engaged only when both sides sign a written agreement, and that agreement governs the work, the fees, confidentiality, and who owns the deliverables.

Not professional advice

Blog posts, technical writing, and code samples here are general information, not engineering, security, legal, or financial advice for your situation. Test anything you take from this site before you rely on it in production.

Intellectual property

The text, design, images, and brand marks on this site belong to Zentered Studios LLC and are not licensed for reuse. You may read, link to, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts, and you may not use our name, logo, or brand mark in a way that suggests we endorse you or are affiliated with you.

Our open-source projects are the exception. Code we publish on GitHub is governed by the license in its own repository. That license controls, not this page.

Acceptable use

Read the site, link to it, share it. Do not use it for anything unlawful, do not probe or scan it or attempt to breach its infrastructure, do not crawl it at a rate that degrades service for other visitors, and do not pass our content off as your own.

We link to third-party sites and repositories. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their security, or their terms.

Availability

We make no promise that the site is available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, move, or remove any page at any time, including these terms and the services described here, without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Zentered Studios LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim connected to this site is limited to one hundred US dollars. The site is provided free of charge, which is the reason for that limit. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Boulder County, Colorado, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We update these terms when the site changes. The date at the top is the version you are reading. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
